As part of KakiDIY’s community outreach, one of our focus in 2015 was to assist, incubate and accelerate entrepreneurs and startups. Since the Maker Faire 2014 in Penang last year, KakiDIY saw a potential in a talented DIY craft maker who likes to share the creation with family and friends. Through some mentoring, collaborating in showcase events and some sales booth, MC Arts & Craft was founded.
Quadcopters and Multirotors always fascinated us at KakiDIY. From our first off the shelf China made Quadcopter (WLToys V303) to the more advanced DJI Phantom 2 complete with FPV and Gimbal, we were trying to get more from the quadcopter and so we started to build our own.
So…you have an idea about an IoT project or maybe you don’t have yet… What is Internet of things you may ask? KakiDIY like to put things into 3s (Recycle, Reduce, Reuse… for example) IoT is summarised to things, gadgets and equipments connected anytime, anywhere and anything. Meaning, via the usage of Internet, anything that is able to tap on it can communicate with each other. Making real time automation work.
