Here&#8217;s a simple guide to make a flushed In Car Tablet Mount. It&#8217;s cheap, easy and looked quite flushed for under RM 5.00. Pictures and guides follows&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Items\u00a0needed:<br \/>\n&#8211; Wiring Duct<br \/>\n&#8211; Hack Saw<span class=\"text_exposed_show\"><br \/>\n&#8211; Sharpie<br \/>\n&#8211; Sand Paper<br \/>\n&#8211; Paint<br \/>\n&#8211; Epoxy Glue<br \/>\n&#8211; Masking tape\/electrical tape<br \/>\n&#8211; Foam Tape<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Measure the total length of the area you want to cover your tablet\u00a0with (i.e. the two sides and bottom) then cut the piece to length<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/scontent-b-kul.xx.fbcdn.net\/hphotos-prn2\/t1.0-9\/1901767_10152372580989054_8291958495609863646_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"720\" height=\"960\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; measure the bends and mark them again (i.e. where the duct should bend 90 degrees)<br \/>\n&#8211; When measuring, ensure you do not block the charger.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.net\/hphotos-ak-prn2\/t1.0-9\/10330434_10152372581324054_9058474655919578148_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"720\" height=\"960\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Measure the depth of the wiring duct (in this case 1cm) and mark AFTER the first marking you made for the measurements to make space for the 90 degree bend<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.net\/hphotos-ak-frc3\/t1.0-9\/10320549_10152372581489054_7833554891538003341_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"960\" height=\"720\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Carefully flex the duct so it moves freely. Use a lighter to warm the duct up to get it to cooperate.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.net\/hphotos-ak-prn1\/t1.0-9\/10256952_10152372581614054_7753238626764224952_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"720\" height=\"960\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; make a 90 degree bend and press it down as hard as you can.<br \/>\n&#8211; check for large gaps on one side, if yes, you may have to do it again.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/scontent-b-kul.xx.fbcdn.net\/hphotos-frc3\/t1.0-9\/10277779_10152372581694054_3707700181771834993_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"960\" height=\"720\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Apply the epoxy mixture to the joints as smoothly as you can. this is to reduce the time taken to sand it down.<br \/>\n&#8211; Leave the epoxy to cure for at least 24 hours<br \/>\nNote:<br \/>\n&#8211; Dry = dries on the outside but is still soft on the inside usually you will get 5-10% adhesive strength<br \/>\n&#8211; Cure = inside and out is hardened and ready for use.<br \/>\n&#8211; Please do note that due to the high humidity of our country, although the instructions on the label of the epoxy says it will be cured in 8 hours, leave it at least 12 to 24 hours.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/fbcdn-sphotos-a-a.akamaihd.net\/hphotos-ak-frc1\/t1.0-9\/10172809_10152372581704054_5321987252896198340_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"612\" height=\"816\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Signed, made by BDC specially for KakiDIY<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/fbcdn-sphotos-e-a.akamaihd.net\/hphotos-ak-ash3\/t1.0-9\/10259778_10152372581884054_920850237926459529_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"816\" height=\"612\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Flushed mount, done.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.net\/hphotos-ak-prn2\/t1.0-9\/984066_10152372581714054_8674262761193994790_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"612\" height=\"816\" \/><\/p>\n<p>A minor touch to make it neat.
