Quadcopters and Multirotors always fascinated us at KakiDIY. From our first off the shelf China made Quadcopter (WLToys V303) to the more advanced DJI Phantom 2 complete with FPV and Gimbal, we were trying to get more from the quadcopter and so we started to build our own.
So…you have an idea about an IoT project or maybe you don’t have yet… What is Internet of things you may ask? KakiDIY like to put things into 3s (Recycle, Reduce, Reuse… for example) IoT is summarised to things, gadgets and equipments connected anytime, anywhere and anything. Meaning, via the usage of Internet, anything that is able to tap on it can communicate with each other. Making real time automation work.

Jump starting a car with weak batteries are quite straightforward.
NOTE : Try to use Donor cars which are a larger engine capacity to make the jump start easier. Actually, displacement/engine capacity is not important. Just a rule of thumb for the size of the alternator… For example, in this article, the donor car is a classic Mini Cooper with upgraded 65W Alternator, enough to jump start almost any street cars.

Some cars came with just plain, translucent 3rd brake lights. There are many creative colours out there where you can tint them into. Some people like them smoked with dark tints, some are more creative with colours. Whatever it is, just make sure that the 3rd brake lights are visible and still maintain it RED to serve it’s purpose.

Arduino is a tool for making computers that can sense and control more of the physical world than your desktop computer. It’s an open-source physical computing platform based on a simple microcontroller board, and a development environment for writing software for the board.
Most cars (Japanese Cars) these days somehow don’t come with any audible beeps when you lock or unlock the car via remote. Some manufacturer even reverted to use the car’s horn as an audible signal to indicate door locks/alarm activation which is kinda annoying.
